Congratulations to Geoff King, George McLean and Ken Stubbs who defeated John Pattison, Bob Lumb and Barry Driver in the final of the Major Triples. Geoff's team set up a commanding lead before the arrival of Patto's Currawongs team Mascot saw Patto narrow the lead to just one shot going into the second last end. In the end Geoffs team was too strong, bringing down the defending champs 25-22.
