Competition, social and barefoot bowls at the friendliest Bowling Club in the Shire

Tucked in between the trees and homes in picturesque South Cronulla, the Club was inaugurated in 1954 as a community sporting and meeting place. Initially as a men's only club, with the ladies bowling at a separate club in Dolans Bay.

The Club has undergone many changes through the last 60 decades yet we still have the charm of the original club.

This friendly club has an active bowling membership of over 200, with similar numbers of men and women and are an integrated club.  The club boasts three top-class greens, a fully licenced clubhouse and a poker machine-free, family-friendly vibe.

Our fully stocked bar serves the best beer in the Shire- straight from the tap into an icy cold glass.

Bar trading hours:

Tuesday 3:30pm-7pm

Wednesday 3:30pm- 7pm

Thursday 3:30pm-7pm

Friday 3:30pm- 10pm

Saturday 3:30-7pm

Sunday, Monday, Closed.

Step back in time at the picturesque South Cronulla Bowling Club.  Located on the South Cronulla peninsula, not far from the historic Bass and Flinders monument.  First opened in 1956 the Clubhouse is still the original building and retains much of it’s historic charm. A friendly atmosphere, no pokies and great location make it Cronulla’s best kept secret.

Whether you are a competition bowler, social bowler, barefoot bowler or just looking for somewhere to bring the family for a quiet Friday night meal you will love the retro ambience of South Cronulla Bowlo.

Opened in 1956,  the South Cronulla Bowling Club has changed little and still retains a distinctly Retro feel.  Hidden away on the South Cronulla Peninsula it is a meeting place and social centre for many local families on a Friday night

For venue hire, SCBC is ideal. Whether it is a birthday, engagement or even a casual wedding, South Cronulla can cater for 10 to 130 people. Organise your own catering our we can do it for you.

We’ve been hiding down here on the peninsular since 1956 but more and more people are discovering Cronulla’s best kept secret so come and check it out!
